October 2026 Alaska PFD payment dates

October 1, 2026: Direct deposits for eligible online applicants who selected direct deposit and reached “Eligible-Not Paid” status by September 18.

October 22, 2026: Payments for eligible applicants who reached “Eligible-Not Paid” status by October 12. This includes online and paper applications, with payment by direct deposit or check.
Paper checks will begin mailing from Juneau on October 22, so delivery times may vary.
Applicants who miss either cutoff may receive their payment in a later monthly distribution once their application becomes eligible.
Who qualifies for the 2026 Alaska PFD?
To qualify, applicants generally must:

Have lived in Alaska throughout 2025.

Intend to remain Alaska residents indefinitely.

Not claim residency in another state or country.

Meet Alaska’s rules for absences from the state.

Meet the required physical-presence standard.

Not be disqualified because of certain felony convictions or incarceration.

Applicants can track their application and payment status through myPFD. Make sure your mailing address and direct-deposit information are current.
